We are committed to continually developing eUP to make it easier and more powerful.

What is eUP?

eUP is an online planning tool that assists teachers to create meaningful curriculum for both primary and secondary students. It has been developed for teams of educators wishing to design, record and review curriculum using a series of wizard-like questions that guide teachers through the planning process. eUP was designed by educational consultant Karen Green and built by the team at lostsockdesign.

How can eUP help us?

eUP allows teachers to work together or individually to plan and document their curriculum. It provides a logical step-by-step approach to planning with a number of prompts that allow for the development of rigorous and stimulating units of work. eUP streamlines a complex process and provides an audit of many curriculum elements.

Who is eUP for?

eUP can be used by teachers when writing units of work for students in both primary and secondary schools. eUP supports teachers in writing powerful in-depth curriculum that has a focus on inquiry learning. It allows school leadership groups to track every unit of work being developed and taught within their school.

How much does eUP cost?

An annual subscription will provide teachers with an online planning tool they can access from any computer at any time or place. This cost is $4.50 per student (excluding GST). The number of students a school is required to pay for is capped at 700.

What are the system requirements for eUP?

Since eUP is hosted on our computers all you need to access your units is an internet connection. We recommend Firefox or Internet Explorer. An advantage of using Firefox over Internet Explorer is the embedded spell-check within Firefox. Also for Mac users, Internet Explorer is no longer supported by Microsoft for Mac OS X whereas Firefox is MAC OS X compatible. Some users may experience difficulties with earlier versions of Internet Explorer.

This website has been designed for all resolutions, however we recommend viewing eUP in 1024 x 768 or higher.

Is our work private?

Absolutely! We take online security very seriously, and that's why all your school's data is 100% private and password-protected. Access to units is limited to teachers within the subscribing school. Each teacher has their own login details and portal. Teachers are able to lock their units so that only the authors are able to edit them.

What standards are available in eUP?

Currently the Victorian Essential Learning Standards are accessible via a keyword and category search. eUP has been designed to allow for any standards to be included. As eUP expands, we will be adding more. If you would like another group of standards to be added email us at info@eup.com.au.
